I’ll be the first to admit that I am not the best “poser”. I kind of prefer to stick people in situations or a set locationand just kind of let it happen. So when it comes to large groups (see my limit of 8, haha!) or engagements, I get a bit creatively flustered andI have to think just a bit longer about “how I’m going to do this”.
This session with the lovely engageed Carrie and Brandon went pretty much “on my side”. Just think…
1. not really a lot of posing.
2. I didn’t have to photoshop any dirt out of the photos.
3. No wrinkles in clothes to fix.
4. these two put me on location and let it happen.
I’ve known Carrie since we were in the fourth grade. It’s so neat to think back to the times we were so young, and now I get to have this experiece with her and be there as this fun unfolds (just wait until her wedding in 2011…).
I did her brother’s wedding (who subsequently married Mary Anne, who came to Fremont when we were in the 5th grade – how cool!)
Carrie and Brandon like to have a blast together and waste no time getting to it. I love when I get to see two people who’s personalities just click, and who appreciate eachother enough to have fun together, and take time to do so.
The light was so pretty – I just let these go au-natural, letting the sun haze take over.

I know that the fourth image from the bottom would normally leave much to be desired, and would be discarded. I like it though, even for the fact that there isnt a thing in focus… actualy I think that’s why I like it. There was so much movement going on… chaos, mud flying, laughter (Carrie’s mom having a heart attack in the Gator watching it unfold…).
This was something totally off my norm by doing this and I had a blast.
Embrace something different today, even if it doesn’t feel like what youre used to, just embrace it.
