In the “no”

E. calls the snow “no” – and I love it. His main sentences about his beloved “no”?

“pay inda-no?”

“no cooooold”

Awesome.  K. used to call it that as a toddler, too.  The BW swing shot below was by far my favorite of my chair-sitting  on a snowy day.  For 1/160th @ f/4 on a quick whim I’d say it came out pretty darn good!

*note my awesome dog  just below her tail end :)

I just thought I would share a few – not much time for editing other than a quick web resize. I’m t’d that the one of the two of them is a bit under-exposed but that can be fixed later on!

snow! is! FUNNY!

(said to the tune of wheel! of! FORTUNE!)

The snow just made E. giggle..

*sigh* she’s growing up too fast, not looking all of 5 these day. To me she looks so much older.

*also note – a while back I talked about the plasmacar and the razr scooter being left out in the snow after a spring-like day in december.  Well, there’s proof of my lack of yard cleanin, yet.

I’m going to try to do a bit more proofing before I head to the recliner for the night (to exhaust myself watching TV so I can somehow fall asleep in bed).  Today was my first attempt at wrangling the chillin’s while my husband went to do some stuff at the station work-wise.  E. woke up with a FEVER. At 6:42 am (when my husband left at 6:40 – perfect – and he has been sleeping until amost 9:00am).  Cranky all day and poor K. was bored out of her mind :( I felt aweful and it was rather painful.  I’ve been taking some of that mucinex stuff and it’s really helping me – coughing while this injury heals has not helped one bit.   I haven’t used the drop-rail on E.’s crib since he was mega-little but its helpful in that he can help himself out byholding onto me versus me trying to carry him.   While my husband has FMLA leave until the 16th – I thought I could handle it alone for at least a bit today.

WRONG!

Febrile kid.  Antsy 5 year old.  And a different kind of fever for both : CABIN!  Looking forward to that slushy fabulousness of spring, for sure.

Hope you enjoyed the “no” photographs :)
