…As a little guy I haven’t seen in a long time. Meet Mr. Freeze:

Mr. Freeze, who was born as Carsen, is the son of my dear friend Rachel. Rach moved away out of state a while back and this is the first chance I have had to see her OR Mr. Freeze (everyone loves a little bit of Batman toddler-going- on- 4- years- old identity crisis, right?) in a long time.
We went to the park and chased squirrells for a little while, stomped on peanut shells, and talked about the potential of him ever sleeping until the sun actually comes up (he’s a 5am kind of kid).

I’ve been using these blog collage actions and it cuts down on the time I take to frame and watermark, for sure. But I’m struggling with what appears to be a “cooling” effect when I run the sharpener. It’s more than likely just user error, I’ll figure it out!
(*yes, I know the same image is posted in BW and Color, I couldnt decide which to share!)
Our meeting was brief, compared to how much I would have loved to have sat down for hours and just let our kids play and talk with Rachel. However, duty day + cranky kids = I had to shuffel them off to my mom for a much needed breather. I’ve had the same weird headache (while I’ve been blessed with no migraines for a while now) for about a week and it’s wearing on my daily “being”… loud crankies weren’t doing it for me yesterday… eep!
But so goes… I have friends I do not get to see often, and when I do, it’s never for long enough. I just count my blessings that I even get to have them in my life in the way that I do =)
April is stacked for me… I’m gearing up for it.
Happy sunday, and enjoy the crappy weather that looks like is coming our way *eyeroll*.
Happy Birthday Carsen,
dani
