Remeber sweet little baby Norah? She’s “all grown up now” – and when you see her below, she’ll still make you melt =)

Her Mommy and Daddy’s big huge “labor day backyard barbeque” went really well yesterday. Amber and Bryan, with extreme short notice and pleasent surprise, had a beautiful church wedding and an even more amazing backyard reception with their closest friends and immediate family. Despite the intermittant rain and wind, everything was just awesome. I’ve never done an event quite like this one and will say that it will most definitely go down on my books as a favorite. There was no shortage of love, cute kids, and laughter as the morning turned to afternoon, and turned to a sunny evening.

This wasn’t easy to keep a secret from those of you who are friends/family of Amber and Bryan’s =) But it was fun! I’m so grateful to the Root’s and the Reineck’s for their generosity and kindness to me, for the delish food and cake, and the fun. These are two fabulous families who will be having plenty more good times to come. There’s something so, so special about a small, intimate wedding and having most of the take place at your home. SO COOL!
There will be a chance I will shoot another wedding based at home, but I am certain there will never be another one quite like yesterday’s… another two families will make a unique day all there own.
Congratulations Bryan, Amber, and Norah – she may not have understood how important yesterday was, but she knew something special was going on – and it was very special, indeed.
Wishing you all nothing but the very best!
