First I’d like to say a big fat SORRY for not blogging sooner. I’ve been extremely run-down since sunday morning and have not been feeling the absolute best, I’m a bit behind… I think sick-days are in order sometimes.
This wedding was very special to me. Trisch and I were very close friends in highschool – and while distance may change the depth of a friendship and the frequency in which friendships are communicable, it doesn’t change the fact t hat old friendships are part of what made you who you are today; part of what held you together on nights in highschool that you were sure the world was ending, parts of things you celebrated, and parts of things you cried over losing. There was a group of 5 girls that I became close friends with (6 altogether) in highschool, and one of them tragicly passed away one month to the day we were to graduate. This wedding of Mike and Trischa was was one of the very few times we’ve all been in the same place together since we’ve graduated and it was very emotional. I remember when Trischa’s little brothers were sleeping at four o’clock in the morning the day she was to leave for school at OU. I crawled into her bed to sleep after a tearful goodbye so that I could care for them while G&K took her to college. I cried a lot on her pillows that day, whether or not I ever told her. I even remember joking about how she’d hoped college admissions didn’t do drug testing because she was taking a container of poppyseed muffins to eat on the way down:) I’d heard the names of her new roomates, listened to her plan her journey. She sure made an awesome journey out of it and will soon become a light of hope and change to the ever so multi-facted carreer as a Lawyer (Attorney? Whichever the kinder, nicer one is, thats her!). She’s smart and beautiful and I am so thankful that not only did I get YEARS to have her in my life as a close friend and even more years of staying in touch, but that the others that joined in her day that mean the world to her – those she’s known all her life, and those she’s met along the way, were able to share in her joy of marrying her best friend Mike this past weekend. For those of you who do not know them, Mike & Trisch are two of the most goal oriented, hard working, down-to-earth people you will ever meet. Straight up – no fuss/no mess – fabulous people, who are there for eachother in every aspect of life. It’s so awesome
This affair was beyond elegant and I must say, if you ever need an event planner, T. is your girl. She is SO YOUR GIRL!

Chapman-Snyder families: thank you for the warmest heartfelt weekend. Thank you for taking good care of Jessie (see her awesome shots above! Thanks JG!) and I and making sure we were well quenched and fed. You were all so stunning and handsome and I am honored to have shared the weekend with you.
With love and heartfelt congratulations – and the best wishes I could wish,
xo
